Stopped in on Saturday morning around 10 and it was pretty busy. You order at the kiosk and get seated based on the table you’re assigned. We sat upstairs which isn’t as lively as it is downstairs, but still loud. There was always a staff member around to help when we looked lost. Everyone was friendly, calm, and moved quickly while the restaurant was getting busier and busier. The food was the highlight. My partner got the Churn Breakfast and it’s everything you’d want and more. Perfect pandan waffles, cute eggs, crispy bacon, fresh fruit. If you have picky eaters, you can make notes on each item at the kiosk. The kids’ orders came out as requested! Plain waffle, all toppings on the side. Breakfast crepe without this and that. There was absolutely no issue! And then finally, my order was the Yuzu Cream Pasta! Absolutely better than I expected and I have no regrets eating all of it. Great flavors. Black sesame iced latte, orange juice, and hot chocolate were all thumbs up. We will definitely be back!

My new go to spot! The food was amazing! I want to try everything on their menu. One con, the drinks (non alcoholic). They are overpriced for what you get and no refills.

In the sea of Asian fusion brunches cropping up in Portland this place is pretty decent and I would definitely return. As expected, lots of ube, pandan and black sesame food and drink options but these were actually done pretty decently and not overly sweet. You will self-order at the kiosks to the left of the entrance and then find a table after you’ve finished ordering. We did not try the chicken and waffles or crepes. But the ube French toast, waffles plate and okonomiyaki waffle fries were all a hit and would recommend.

Absolutely delicious! We each got a different item and all loved ours. The French toast was the best ever.

Brunch at Churn Cafe was an adventurous and absolutely satisfying experience. We started with the Churn Breakfast — the pandan waffle was fluffy and fragrant, and paired well with crisp bacon and fresh fruit. The strawberry matcha was refreshing with a delicate sweetness. The surprise hit was the Okonomiyaki crepe — savory, umami-packed, and perfectly balanced with layers of flavor and texture. But the real star of the show? The ube French toast. Soft, creamy, and deeply flavorful with a gorgeous color — it was indulgent and comforting in the best way. This place nails creative brunch.

The food here is on point! We ate here on a whim and everything was really tasty. For some reason not many people were on the top floor, which is odd to me because there's plenty of space. It has an automatic ordering system, kind of like what you would see at a modern boba shop, but works for me, we got the food we wanted. We tried a lot of different stuff and it was all excellent.

I wish I could eat sweets in the morning - the pandan custard and the Ube waffles look amazing! The waffles were light and crispy with a chewy center. The chicken was crispy

We had a blast. We had a 'large' group of 6, and we were seated within an hour on a busy Sunday. Food was GREAT. Beverages were SUPER TASTY, atmosphere was LOVELY. I wanted to order everything on the menu, it all sounded amazing. Truly, everything we order was delicious. Someone in your party needs to order the latte flight... so fun!
